CONCEPT
________ An immersive sensorial journey among the vineyards.
Amidst the Raboso vineyards in the province of Treviso, we designed and crafted a wine room for Azienda Agricola Cecchetto, a space where the preservation of wine becomes an intimate, narrative experience. A place where time slows down and wine meets light, where matter itself becomes a story, inviting silence, care, and contemplation.
Every detail is conceived to evoke the profound essence of what wine represents: memory, identity, transformation. The reclaimed wood from old barrels becomes a living material that embraces, while the light gently follows the visitor’s path, creating a scenographic yet delicate journey. Technology discreetly recedes into the background, enhancing the beauty of each gesture. This wine room is not a simple storage space, but a sanctuary that preserves the soul of wine, transforming every visit into a ritual to be savored with slowness, attention, and respect.
The oak staves recovered from the historic Raboso barrels were repurposed to create the central table, treated with natural oil and the very same wine they once held. Home automation orchestrates the lighting in three progressive stages, shaping an intimate, atmospheric scene.
The key to this wine room is a cork, a poetic detail that binds functionality to the symbol of wine, making each entrance an intimate gesture in harmony with the story this space tells.
